How to store the tiles until assembly?
If the assembly is to take place within 3-4 weeks since the date of production, the package should be cut open and placed at an angle so that rain water runs down easily.
If the assembly is to take place any time over 4 weeks since the date of production, the package should be cut open and sheets should be separated with slats so as to enable air flow. Package should not be placed directly on the ground. Sheets should be stored in a dry, airy place.
Precise storage instructions are always attached to the package.

Is it possible to use angle grinder to cut sheets?
Using angle grinder to cut sheets automatically cancels company guarantee. The heat during cutting damages the cut sheet ridges and the metal sawing dust melt into the sheet surface and become possible centre of corrosion.
It is best to cut sheets with a nibbler or tinner’s shears.
Cut edges should be coated with colear protective varnish.

Do roofs require conservation?
Coated steel roofs require periodic control. Conservation consists mainly of removing chimney tarnish and dust which, if left on the surface for a long period of time may cause damage to the tile. Special attention should be devoted to places around chimneys. Should any damages to varnish coating be discovered, they should be mended with touch-up paintwork.

Small damages are mended only with touch-up paints, which are constantly available on our offer. Other paints and varnishes, such as minium, are not to be used. Touch-up paints are prepared in such a way so that their colour is as alike with the colour of tiles as possible.
Touch-paints are available everywhere where Blachy Pruszyński are sold.
